Alzheimer's Disease

Assalamualaikum Gardeners!

Yesterday I studied about Nervous system and I really love it! Subhanallah.. My first thought when i study about it was our Creature is so intelligence! There is no other meant you can say. Our nervous system worked all over the body without us knowing it. All have been program! Do you know how complicated it is? It is really interesting. I really want to learn in depth about nervous system.. especially the brain ;) It may take long times but yes, of course I will learn it little by little.

So regarding the title. Since we learn about nervous system, I can't ignore about one of the diseases that happen in this system. It's really make me curious about the Alzheimer's Disease. It's become more weird when this disease cannot be cure. Maybe the conventional medicine cannot treat it, I wish that I can do something like experimenting someone using Homeopathy treatment. I know Homeopathy have other initiative. So, anyone.. wanna be my patient? >,<

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common form of dementia. Dementia is generally a cognitive dysfunction. AD usually diagnose in people over 65 years old. In the early stages, AD patient has difficulty in remembering recent events. 

 

As you can see, Alzheimer's brain is shrink more than the normal one. As the disease advance, there are many other manifestations from the AD patient including confusion; irritability, aggression; mood swings, trouble with language; and loss of long-term memory. Then, gradually body functions are lost and ultimately leading to death. Sad isn't it? I really have a strong feeling that this disease really can be cured.

The cause of Alzheimer's disease is till essentially unknown (it's make me more weird). Some scientist proposes that AD is caused by reduced synthesis of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
