I am a backbone!

Someone that I respect says to me..

"Now is the right time to you to move on and get in the 'society'. They need many of you."

I AM in society though...  That's what I thought.

He elaborate more,

"To be in society also meant as in the leadership of the society that can help and improve it."

I AM A BACKBONE.  That's what I said. I'm  not someone who can talk in front of everyone who is senior and have more experience than me. But,  I really can help with all my heart in managing or anything 'backstage'.

He refused.............. And said

"Even backbone has limbs to balance it. So do you... "
